The UFC superstar, currently serving an indefinite suspension from the orgnaisation, has long been linked with moving from mixed martial arts into the world of professional wrestling.

McGregor has teased the possibility of teaming up with compatriot Becky Lynch

And in a show of support for his Irish compatriot, Becky Lynch, he has got some fans very excited about the two pairing up in some capacity.

Lynch is the hottest thing in WWE and calls herself “The Man” since claiming the SmackDown Women’s Title at Hell in a Cell from bitter rival Charlotte Flair.

The Irish Lass Kicker, real name Rebecca Quin, used Twitter to claim her recent rise has not been inspired by McGregor and claimed she would break his arm if she got close to him, which sparked a response from Notorious.

“The Man channels no one. @TheNotoriousMMA & me are bonded as Irish brother & sister. But if I ever got within 2 miles of him I’d break that bond, and his arm, in three short seconds. I’d be too tempting; he’d completely understand too. Proper12 after,” she wrote, ending with a reference to the whisky company founded by McGregor.

“Call me when you need Proper back up,” McGregor, the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two weight divisions simultaneously, replied.

And Lynch’s reply sparked the excitement, with WrestleMania taking place at the MetLife Center in New Jersey in April.
