The Reds boast a plethora of talent in their squad, including their dangerous front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino; a trio capable of causing any defence major problems.
But it’s not always been like that for Liverpool – who used to be susceptible to the odd defeat against the Cottagers.
And the Reds suffered one of their worst defeats in west London in October 2009 when Fulham dismantled Rafael Benitez’s side, winning 3-1.

The game was actually on Halloween, which is rather fitting as it’s quite scary that a club being touted as title challengers before the season started fielded a line-up as bad as this!
So here is the team Rafa put out on that fateful day, if you can dare to look!
LATEST FOOTBALL NEWS
WARNING: The squad you’re about to see could cause Liverpool fans major distress
Substitutes: Peter Gulacsi, Andrea Dossena, Daniel Ayala (subbed on for Kuyt 85), Jay Spearing, Damien Plessis, Nathan Eccleston (subbed on for Benayoun 78), Ryan Babel (subbed on for Torres 63)
The match was a disaster for Liverpool from the get-go.
Bobby Zamora gave Fulham the lead before Fernando Torres levelled the game up just before half-time.
With the game locked at 1-1, Benitez naturally decided to take off Torres and put on the lacklustre Ryan Babel – who now plays for Fulham – on 63 minutes.
Erik Nevland restored their the Cottagers’ lead moments later before Philipp Degen and Jamie Carragher were both sent off inside four minutes.
Clint Dempsey added another late on to complete Liverpool’s misery.
There were a few good players on show and it should also be noted Steven Gerrard was injured at the time, but there are players including Degen and Emiliano Insua who Kopites would rather forget ever played for their clu – and the bench is even more scary!
There will surely not be any repeat of that fateful performance from Klopp’s men today!
