Top ten rated players on FIFA since 2010, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi

FIFA 19 is now all set for release with the top 100 players fully announced.

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo sits top of the rankings, fresh from his transfer from Real Madrid, pipping Barcelona hero Lionel Messi to top spot.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are both 94-rated players in FIFA 19.

It’s a battle which seems never ending both on and off the field as the duo fight to be recognised as the best player in the world.

While these two have remained the top two on the planet for over a decade though, things around them have changed quite a lot.

So with the announcement of the FIFA 19 top 10, we decided to look back at how this has changed in every game since FIFA 2011. Check out the lists below.

We’re all excited about the release of FIFA 19 but don’t put FIFA 18 away just yet, they just released another superb Team of the Week.

You can get a number of top in-form cards this, including World Cup hero Harry Maguire, who scored a fine goal against Southampton, Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus also has a healthy upgrade too.

Meanwhile, the third ‘Record Breaker’ card of FIFA 18 has been released with Josef Martinez being awarded it for scoring the most goals in an MLS season.

FIFA 19: Liverpool player ratings revealed in leak ahead of game’s release

The latest edition of hit video game series FIFA will be released on September 28, just over a month from today.

FIFA 19 boasts numerous improvements on last year’s instalment, with the official inclusion of the Champions League, as well as the latest chapter of Alex Hunter’s story, The Journey.

On top of all these features, fans love getting their hands on the newest game so they can play with their favourite team updated for the 2018/19 season.

Every squad is brought up to date to the start of the campaign, featuring not only summer transfers, but also updated player ratings.

In the run up to the release of the game there are numerous predictions over which players will be upgraded and decreased, but this year some ratings have leaked with over a month to go before FIFA 19 is released.

Liverpool are one of the teams who have had their ratings revealed, with 15 first-team players all being leaked online.

There is just over a month to go until FIFA 19, the latest instalment of the hit video game, is released.

Big changes in the new edition include the official introduction of the Champions League to the game, while there is also the latest chapter of The Journey, FIFA’s story mode.

Of course, one of the biggest changes in the game every year is the updated squads and player ratings, and in the run up to release fans are always predicting who should have their rating increased or decreased from last year’s edition.

Argentinian duo Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero have been rewarded for their fantastic performances by being included in the FIFA Team of the Week (TOTW).

Chelsea man Marcos Alonso also features after netting the winning goal in his side’s London derby against Arsenal.

Messi scored two in Barca’s season opener against Alaves, while his compatriot Aguero went one better and bagged a hat-trick in Man City’s 6-1 win over Huddersfield.

PSG star Kylian Mbappe has also notched himself a new in-form card, having got two goals from the bench against Guingamp.

Paul Pogba and Sadio Mane have been rewarded for their fantastic performances by being included in the FIFA Team of the Week (TOTW).

Wayne Rooney is also included in FIFA 18’s 42nd edition of the weekly rankings after his heroics for DC United in midweek.

Showing no signs of a World Cup hangover, Manchester United star Pogba led the Red Devils to a 2-1 win over Leicester City.

The France midfielder gets a 92-rated card, the highest in the squad.

And Mane, wearing his new Liverpool No.10 shirt, scored twice in Liverpool’s 4-0 demolition over West Ham United.

Former Hammer Dimitri Payet is also included in the side, after scoring in the Ligue 1 game against Toulouse.

With FIFA 19 set for release on September 25,  the first TOTW edition of this season should be released in just over a month’s time.
