Rangers have signed Sweden international Filip Helander from Bologna.
Helander has put pen to paper on a four-year deal after the two clubs agreed a reported £3.5million fee.
The defender, who made 23 appearances for Serie A side Bologna last season, said: “I’m delighted to be joining Rangers FC, it’s a special club with tremendous fans and a unique history.
“I’ve come here to battle for every point and to win trophies and I’m looking forward to meeting my team-mates and getting started.”
Helander came through the ranks at hometown club Malmo before signing for Italian side Verona in 2015.

He spent just one season with Verona and moved to Bologna in a loan deal, which was made permanent in 2017.
Helander has been capped 10 times by Sweden.
In an announcement on their Twitter account, Rangers said: “The @svenskfotboll international joins on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee subject to international clearance.”
Helander has followed Jake Hastie, Greg Stewart, Joe Aribo, Sheyi Ojo, Jordan Jones and George Edmundson through the Ibrox door this summer.
