Newcastle have received a major boost in their pursuit of Galatasaray winger Garry Rodrigues, after he was put on the transfer list,
according to the Hurriyet newspaper.
Rodrigues, 27, has made a strong start to the season, bagging three goals in eight appearances in all competitions, but could now be on his way out of the club in January.

Galatasaray are under pressure from Financial Fair Play regulations and could be forced to sell their star players in order to comply with the rules.
Rodrigues is wanted by Valencia and Villarreal too but admitted in the summer that he would be open to a potential move to the Premier League.
And Newcastle have been boosted by the news that their transfer target has been put up for sale.
The Magpies are hopeful of completing a cut-price deal for the in-form winger and believe they can see of competition from Spain to land him during the mid-season window.
