And the Championship club have the option to sign the forward permanently following his year with the club.

On Tuesday, Leeds sold Jack Clarke to Tottenham and the youngster has returned to Elland Road on a season-long loan.

Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa has already added Jack Harrison from Manchester City and Ben White from Brighton to his ranks, with both also joining on loan.

Meanwhile, Leeds have also made a bid for Dinamo Zagreb youngster Ivan Sunjic, according to the Daily Mail.

Sunjic, 22, made 24 appearances as Dinamo Zagreb won the Croatian league title last season, finishing 25 points clear of Rijeka.

Wolves completed the £12million signing of Leander Dendoncker from Anderlecht on Tuesday after taking up their obligation to purchase the midfielder.

Dendoncker made 19 league appearances during his debut season at Molineux, netting twice.

After two outings in the Carabao Cup in August and September, the Belgian had to wait another three months for his league debut, coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 win over Chelsea. But he then became a regular member of the starting line-up in 2019.

Before moving to Wolves, Dendoncker played almost 200 games for Anderlecht after coming through their youth system, making Champions League and Europa League appearances along the way.

Leeds United are eyeing a loan deal for Wolves winger Helder Costa.

The 25-year-old has been at the club since August 2016, initially on loan from Benfica, before making it permanent in January 2017 for £13m.

Portuguese winger Costa has been at Wolves since 2016 and won Player’s Player and Fans’ Player of the Season awards in his first term

Costa won Wolves’ Player of the Season Award in his first year and was part of the side that won promotion to the Premier League a year later.

He started 16 Premier League games last season, creating two goals, and Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa, who will remain at Elland Road next season, wants him to aid his promotion push, report The Sun.

Leeds were beaten in the Championship play-off semi-finals by Derby, and club owner Andrea Radrizzani said there is ‘unfinished business’.

There is also lot of speculation about potential new owners.

Rumours began to surface at the start of the week suggesting Qatar Sports Investments billionaire president Nasser Al-Khelaifi would be meeting Radrizzani in Doha with a view to buying the Whites.

French journalist Julien Laurens told talkSPORT a deal is actually tantalisingly close and could happen ‘sooner rather than later’.

“The owners of PSG, the Qatar Royal Family, are very keen on buying Leeds,” he revealed.

Helder Costa started 16 Premier League games for Wolves last season and it is thought he would play more regularly if he joined Leeds

“They know the owner there very well, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who is the PSG chairman and who is very close to the Qatar Royal Family and he is very good friends with [the Leeds owner] Radrizzani.

“Just to explain it quickly, there is obviously big competition between the Qatar Royal Family and the Abu Dhabi Royal Family, who own Manchester City.

“And they have expanded their brand everywhere in the world; in Japan, in Australia, in the U.S and the MLS and in Spain as well.

“And in Qatar, they are thinking ‘well, we should be the same really’ to expand the brand and get a few clubs.

“And Leeds would very much be part of that.”
