Antoine Griezmann’s Arsenal squad on Football Manager 2019 is unreal – meet the wonderkids starring for the Gunners in 2023

15 Aug

Antoine Griezmann may well have completed his move to FC Barcelona this summer, but the World Cup winner clearly has a soft spot for Arsenal.

The 28-year-old posted a screenshot of his Football Manager game onto Twitter and revealed he is currently undertaking a save as the Gunners’ gaffer.

Time had elapsed in the game until 2023 and it is fair to say the former Atletico Madrid striker has assembled a world class squad.

Packed with a host of stars, there is not a single current squad member in the team, much to the chagrin of Alexandre Lacazette.

Replying to his France international colleague in the replies, Griezmann revealed that after winning the Premier League, Champions League and Carabao Cup in 2021, he sold the striker to Huddersfield for £23.5million!

Unai Emery may have splashed the cash on the likes of Kieran Tierney and Nicolas Pepe this summer, but the Spaniard will be envious of the side Griezmann has built at the Emirates.

Bristling with young talent, the France international has built a very good Gunners team

But just who are the players Griezmann has picked for his Arsenal side? Given how much time has elapsed, there are a few ‘newgen’ players in the squad such as the goalkeeper – Hasan.

Below, has provided mini profiles on each real member of the team. ALl of the stats are from the game and are not the latest

Check out the sensational side Griezmann has created!

Leeds United transfer news: Whites ‘reach deal to sign’ Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman on season-long loan

13 Jul

Leeds United and Chelsea have reached a deal for the season-long loan of Blues goalkeeper Jamal Blackman to Elland Road.

Blackman, 24, spent last season on loan at Sheffield United in the Championship, playing 33 times as the Blades finished 10th.

Highly-rated at Stamford Bridge, Blackman’s first-team chances appear limited with Thibaut Courtois and Willy Caballero ahead of him in the pecking order, while the Blues have also expressed interest in signing Alisson, the Roma glovesman, this summer.

Chelsea were willing to let him go out on loan again for 2018/19, and, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds have won the race for his signature.

It is stated that Leeds have ‘reached a deal’ to sign Blackman on a season-long loan, with a medical planned to try and get the keeper in before the Whites’ first pre-season friendly against Forest Green Rovers, which is scheduled for Tuesday.

Blackman will become the second signing of Marcelo Bielsa’s reign as Leeds manager, and he’ll follow Chelsea team-mate Lewis Baker on loan to Elland Road.

Blackman will join fellow Chelsea academy graduate Lewis Baker at Leeds

The Whites are also said to be chasing deals for Domingos Quina, the West Ham starlet, as well as forwards Jonathan Kodjia, of Aston Villa, and Jordan Hugill, of West Ham.

Leeds United transfer news: Elland Road club linked with signing Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman this summer

5 Jul

Leeds are tracking Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman with Marcelo Bielsa hoping to add a new goalkeeper to United’s squad this summer.

The Elland Road club started the hunt for a new No.1 earlier this summer by allowing Felix Wiedwald to leave for Eintracht Frankfurt after just one year in Yorkshire.

Blackman is a graduate of Chelsea’s academy

Manchester City youngster Angus Gunn, who spent last season on loan at Norwich, and David Stockdale, of Birmingham, were two early targets for the Whites, though deals for the pair seem unlikely at this moment in time.

An offer has been made by Leeds to loan Stockdale for the season, but Birmingham are refusing to accept the bid, while Gunn looks set to leave Man City permanently this summer for around £10m, while Leeds only want him on a temporary basis.

And so, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are ‘looking closely’ at Blackman, Chelsea’s 24-year-old glovesman.

Blackman caught the eye playing for Sheffield United last season

The former England youth international has never made an appearance for the Blues, but he impressed while on loan at Sheffield United last season, and is set to leave Stamford Bridge again for the 2018/19 campaign.
