Bayern Munich are set to land the ‘new Harry Kane’ Jann-Fiete Arp ahead of Tottenham and Chelsea.

The 18-year-old has caught the eye since breaking into the first team at struggling Hamburg, who were relegated to the 2. Bundesliga at the end of last season, and he’s already been compared to England’s leading centre-forward.

Both Spurs and Chelsea have been keeping close tabs on Arp, who has played 18 times in the Bundesliga so far, scoring twice.

However, with his contract at Hamburg up in 2019, his value is quickly diminishing and it has been reported that Bayern Munich are closing in on a cut-price deal to sign him this summer.

Bild have claimed that the German giants could pay as little as £1.5m to complete the deal for one of Europe’s most promising strikers.

Bayern have already agreed a deal to sign Leon Goretzka, the Schalke midfielder, on a free contract when his contract expires at the end of the month.
