Manchester City duo Sterling and Sane are the Premier League’s leading assist makers in 2018 but Tottenham’s Eriksen close behind

Scoring goals is great for any player but a large chunk of them do not happen without another player supplying the assist for them.

And with just over a month until we say goodbye to the year 2018, it’s time to look up who’s been racking up their assist count in the Premier League.

Unsurprisingly, the chart has three players from last season’s champions and the current leaders Manchester City.

But just how many assists have the top eleven assist makers achieved so far in this calendar year? Below you can see the list of players with the most assists, courtesy of Opta.

Sane was crowned PFA Young Player of the Year last season
