Lovre Kalinic has agreed to join Aston Villa in January, the Championship club have confirmed.
The Croatia international goalkeeper will officially become a Villa player on January 1 when the transfer window opens.
He will sign a four-year contract until 2023, with Villa believed to have paid a fee in the region on £7million.
Kalinic currently plies his trade at Belgian club Gent and was a part of the Croatian squad which finished second at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Head coach Dean Smith said: “We are delighted to be signing someone of Lovre’s experience and quality.
“He is an outstanding goalkeeper and we are looking forward to welcoming him when he joins at the beginning of January.”
