Copa America 2019 Golden Boot odds: Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester United forwards among the favourites

The Copa America kicks off when Brazil take on Bolivia on Saturday.

The hosts will be without Neymar, who has been ruled out of the tournament with an ankle injury, but will have the attacking quality of Gabriel Jesus and Philippe Coutinho to lean on.

Argentina and Barcelona star Lionel Messi is the bookmakers’ favourite to win the Copa America Golden Boot.

The 31-year-old has reached the last two Copa America finals, but has lost on penalties to Chile on both occasions.

Sky Bet have given Messi odds at 3/1 to take home the prize with Jesus at 6/1 and Luis Suarez at 15/2.

Edinson Cavani and Roberto Firmino follow closely behind at 8/1 and 9/1, respectively.

Barcelona and Uruguay striker Suarez has made a speedy recovery since suffering a knee injury against Liverpool last month.

Despite undergoing surgery towards the end of the season, the 32-year-old returned for Uruguay and scored in a 3-0 friendly win over Panama last weekend.
