Hull City have completed the signing of Reece Burke from West Ham United for an undisclosed fee.
Burke, 22, is the club’s third signing of the summer and follows David Milinkovic and Eric Lichaj to the KCOM Stadium.
“I’m over the moon to have signed for Hull City,” Burke told the club’s official website.
Hull are in Portugal where the players are preapring for the new season and the defender has flown out to join up with the first team squad on the Algarve.
“I enjoy playing football and I see this move as a big opportunity for me. I’ve had a good chat with the head coach and I know that the club were really keen to bring me here. That is a nice feeling to have.”
The East Londoner joined the club aged nine and played five Premier League appearances before being sent on loan to Wigan, Bolton and Bradford.
The arrival of club-record signing Issa Diop for £24 million has pushed him further down the pecking order.
