West Brom sign Manchester City youngster Tosin Adarabioyo on season-long loan

West Brom have signed 20-year-old defender Tosin Adarabioyo on loan from Man City.

The England youth centre-back has made eight first team appearances for City, and is now making his first temporary move away from the Etihad.

Adarabioyo made his senior debut in City’s 5-1 FA Cup defeat to Chelsea in 2016

Adarabioyo joined City at the age of just five, made his under-18s debut at just 14 became captain of that side by the time he was just 16.

“It feels very strange [to be at West Brom] considering the amount of time I’ve been at Manchester City,” he told his new club’s website.

“I think it’s the time in my career where I need to play as many games as I can.

“The challenge of the Championship of playing two games a week so it’s about adapting to that.”

Adarabioyo has worked his way up through the England youth ranks from under-16 to under-19 level.
